We know that not all schools can afford to purchase physical computing to enhance the computing curriculum. AICT offers a range of equipment that can be used within the workshops at your school.
How Can Amazing ICT Support You?
As part of a your support session in our termly package you can book a session to learn more about the kit available or book a workshop to use the kit in lessons along with a member of the team.
3D Printers
AmazingICT owns two MakerBot SKETCH printers that are available for leasing in the Shropshire area*. Having a 3D printer on site adds to the awe and wonder as children are able to watch the printer in action. AICT can also bring in one of the printers for the workshops to talk about the different components and demonstrate to children how it works as their designs are being printed.
Costs -
Half term (6 weeks) - £149
Full term (12 weeks) - £279
The 3D printer will come equipped with a demonstration tutorial from one of the team and one roll of filament. More filament can be purchased on request.
Physical Computing
AmazingICT owns a range of robotics and physical computing kit that is available for use in our workshops. Check out the Robotics and kit page for an extensive look at the equipment available.
