Art and technology

Richard here from AmazingICT. Notice, that in the title, I have put art before technology. The creative art process comes first, in the thinking of an idea.

Technology can play a part.

In this example students in year 2 of a school in the UK have used paints or pens to create something.

we then used technology to EDIT the images

1. Take a digital picture on an iPad using the CAMERA app
2. Access the images from the PHOTO app
3. CROPPED the photos if necessary
4. Changed the DIGITAL setting for the picture (e.g.brightness, contrast, sharpness)

Please note: the original (on paper) may be more pleasing than the EDITED digital image. It’s often a subjective thing based on the person viewing the art.
