The increased focus on using technology to support SEND has been supported by the DFE Pilot ATLL project (Assistive Technology Lending Library) Thousands of children with SEND to benefit from assistive tech – GOV.UK

We are suggesting you use the the SETT (Student Environment Task Tool) framework is a decision making tool to support the identification and matching of students’ needs and abilities with appropriate assistive technology. It provides a selection of prompt questions to help educators work with children and involve them in the process of identifying the type of assistive technology to trial. The SETT framework questions can be found here.
